Rivers
Raipur Upazila is located in the southeastern coastal region of Bangladesh. The Meghna River flows through this upazila. It is located in the Meghna river basin in almost the whole of North Charbangshi Union No. 2 of Raipur Upazila. The river has a deep connection with the people of this region. The livelihood of Manu of several unions including North Charbangshi Union No. 2 of the upazila depends on this Meghna river. Rahmat Khali Khal, a tributary of the Meghna River, exists in several unions within Raipur Upazila.
The people of the coastal region survive by fighting against various natural calamities of the river so its nature is very brave and hardworking in the past.
