On behalf of Upazila Administration, Upazila Parishad and Upazila Freedom Fighters Command Council, Raipur, Laxmipur, placing wreaths on the portrait of the great architect of freedom, the greatest Bengali of a thousand years, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his 47th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day, 2022. is Advocate Noor Uddin Chowdhury Nayan, Honorable Member of Parliament, Laxmipur-02, was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting organized by Upazila Administration, Raipur after the tribute. The event was presided over by Mr. Anjan Das, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Raipur. Prof. Dr. Ehsanul Kabir Jaglul, MD, Essential Drugs Ltd., Principal Mamunur Rashid, Chairman, Upazila Parishad Raipur, Mr. Russell Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner (Lands), Raipur, Mr. Advocate Maruf Bin Zakaria, Vice Chairman, Raipur Upazila were present as special guests. Parishad, Mr. Shipan Barua, Officer-in-Charge, Raipur Police Station, Mr. Rafiqul Haider Babul Pathan, General Secretary, Raipur Upazila Awami League, Hero Freedom Fighter Mr. Khorshed Alam Dewan, Former Deputy Commander, Freedom Fighters Command Council, Raipur. The event was moderated by Mr. Fatima Khatun, Manager, Rural Savings Bank, Raipur. Also present were officials of different departments of upazila level, brave freedom fighters, political leaders, leaders of various organizations, journalists of print and electronic media.

Other programs included youth development directorate, distribution of youth loans and tree saplings by Raipur, information directorate, discussion meeting by Raipur and discussion meeting of the sun children of the nation, brave freedom fighters, doa and milad mahfil.
